Repoll proceeds peacefully in Bihar

Repolling in four booths in Bihar -- three in Purnea and another under the Rajmahal Lok Sabha constituency -- began this morning amid tight security.

Sources said elaborate security arrangements had been made in and around the polling booths. Polling in two Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar was held on October 28.

Polling for four Lok Sabha constituencies -- Kagharia, Bhagalpur, Purnea and Rajmahal -- had been deferred in the state following floods.

Counting would be taken up on November 1.
