Transporters' stir enters second day

The All India Motor Transport Congress' indefinite strike entered the second day today.

The transporters say they would not call off the strike till the government rolls back the diesel price hike. However, the government is unwilling to concede the demand.

The stir could increase the cost of essential commodities.
