4 CRPF jawans killed in ULFA ambush

At least five people, including four Central Reserve Police Force jawans, were killed in an ambush by suspected United Liberation Front of Asom militants near Penegri in Tinsukia district today.

According to CRPF sources the incident occurred at 1530 hours when the jawans were patrolling near Tinsukia town.

The sources said the ULFA was trying to create terror on the eve of the final phase of the general election.
