E-Mail this report to a friend

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate C L Thool today directed actress Dimple Kapadia to remain present in the 47th court on December 18 in connection with a case registered against her under the Income Tax Act.

Former member of Parliament Rajesh Khanna, Dimple Kapadia and Somu Mukherjee, partners in Aashirwad Mini Theatre at Bandra, had not mentioned the income from the theatre in their tax returns.

Earlier, Dimple Kapadia had told the court that she was a housewife and had no knowledge of the family's investments. She had said that her estranged husband Rajesh Khanna could provide more details in the case.
