Narayanan arrives in Austria

Indian President K R Narayanan, accompanied by his wife Usha Narayanan, arrived in Vienna last evening and was received at the airport by his Austrian counterpart Thomas Klestil and his wife Margot Klestil Loffler.

Narayanan, who is on a four-day tour to Austria, will also visit the historic city of Salzburg.

This is the first-ever meeting between the two heads of the state.

Besides the Austrian president, Narayanan would also meet the federal chancellor.
