MPs can retain facilities till new House is convened

Members of the dissolved 12th Lok Sabha can retain the pool accommodation facilities till the constitution of the new house.

Instructions to this effect have been issued by Lok Sabha speaker G M C Balayogi following representations by some members in view of the long gap between the dissolution of the house on April 26 and the holding of elections in September-October.

Earlier, the speaker had issued instructions following court orders for restoring railway concessions available to former MPs.
