3 MCC activists held in Bihar

Three hardcore Maoist Communist Centre activists were arrested in the extremist-dominated Gaya district of central Bihar yesterday.

Superintendent of Police Anil Palta said today that one country-made pistol and a few rounds of cartridges were also seized from the extremists.

Palta said the arrested were accused in several massacre cases in the state including that of Senari in the adjoining Jehanabad district where 34 people were massacred on March 18 last.
