Cool nights in parts of Rajasthan

Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to fall at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, south Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Heat wave conditions prevailed in interior Orissa and parts of the Bihar plateau.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Manipur, the Bihar plains, north Tamil Nadu and parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh.

They were above normal in Jammu & Kashmir and in parts of Assam, Meghalaya, east Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and south Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably below normal in Saurashtra and below normal in parts of north Gujarat.

Day temperatures were normal in the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh, the plains of west Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, from where data were sparse.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in parts of west Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, and below normal in parts of the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Kutch.

They were markedly above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, and appreciably above normal in parts of Andhra Pradesh.

They were above normal in parts of south-central Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and north interior Karnataka.

Night temperatures were normal in the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where data were sparse.
