The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Sikh Sangat will begin a month-long joint 'sant yatra ' from March 18 to "bring spiritual awakening among the people and mark 300 years of khalsa panth".

The journey, to start from Patna Sahib in Bihar, will culminate at Anandpur Sahib on April 13, the Baisakhi day. It will pass through Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and Delhi. The yatris will visit historic and religious places in these states.

More than 100,000 saints are expected to participate in the yatra, VHP leaders said.
