President undergoes eye operation

President K R Narayanan underwent a cataract surgery at the Sankara Nethralaya in Madras Thursday morning.

Dr Prema Padmanabham, under the supervision of Dr S S Badrinath, performed the operation, a Rashtrapati Bhavan release said.
