CBI probe into RJD minister's killing

Bihar Governor Sunder Singh Bhandari has ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and former minister Brij Bihari Prasad's killing, official sources said.

Prasad was shot while in judicial custody at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Patna on June 12.

He was arrested in connection with illegal admissions to engineering colleges during his tenure as the state science and technology minister.
