DMK wants TMC to join BJP-led frontTamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today said the Tamil Maanila Congress was welcome to join the National Democratic Alliance led by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Addressing the media on his arrival at the Madurai airport today, he said the Dravida Munnetra Kazagham-BJP combine would not miss an opportunity to include the TMC in their front, as that party also opposed corruption. Asked to comment on All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazagham chief J Jayalalitha's criminal revision petition in the Madras high court seeking to discharge her from the Tansi land deal case, he said she was attempting to delay the proceedings in the case. She had filed as many as 110 petitions in the special courts, he pointed out. However, he refused to comment further, saying the matter was now now sub-judice. Asked whether the constituents of the NDA had reached an understanding on seat-sharing for the coming Lok Sabha elections, he said the question of seat-sharing would be taken up later as there was sufficient time before the poll. He said the DMK would bring out its own manifesto for the coming Lok Sabha polls, urging people to vote for a stable government at the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
