Rain forecast for most parts of the country

Heavy rain is likely to fall at isolated places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Konkan, Goa and central Maharashtra in the next 48 hours.

The south-west monsoon has been active in Assam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan and Goa.

Rain or thundershowers fell at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, central Maharashtra and Vidarbha, at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Marathwada, Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka, and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, and coastal and north interior Karnataka, at a few places in the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshwadweep, and at isolated places in the rest of the country barring Rajasthan where the weather will be mainly dry.
