AP faces cyclone threat

A low pressure area has formed over the north-west and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal. It is likely to intensify further.

Under its influence, rainfall is likely to occur at many places in the coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 36 hours. Heavy rain is also likely at one or two places during the same period, according to the Cyclone Warning Centre in Visakhapatnam.
