More rains forecast for the West Coast

Heavy rain has been forecast at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala in the next 48 hours.

There were rain or thundershowers at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at many places in east Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Assam and Meghalaya, Orissa, the plains of Bihar, central Maharashtra and Telangana, and at isolated places in West Bengal, Sikkim, east Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.

Very light rain also fell at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Himachal Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh and the Gujarat region.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in the Andamans, at many places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, south Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh, north Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.
