CBI tightening its noose on fodder scam accusedThe Central Bureau of Investigation today claimed to have collected vital information implicating senior politicians and bureaucrats in the multi-million rupee fodder scam. According to CBI sources, the agency, which completed its field investigation in all the 47 scam-related cases, has managed to establish the conspiracy aspect in the scam. A fresh chargesheet against a senior politician was likely to be filed soon in connection with the disproportionate assets case being looked into by the agency. Sources said the agency had no intention at the moment to interrogate Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi again or chargesheet her in connection with the disproportionate assets case. For the CBI she has so far been ''only a witness and not an accused.'' UNI UNI |
