South-west monsoon vigorous in east Rajasthan

Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in east Rajasthan.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Haryana and west Madhya Pradesh, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar plateau, Gujarat region, Konkan, Goa and Kerala, at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar plains, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and coastal Karnataka and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
