Monsoon lashes Rajasthan, MP

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in east Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Kerala, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, east Madhya Pradesh and coastal Karnataka, and at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Orissa, west Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at a few places over the rest of the country outside Telegana, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu where it will be at isolated places.
