Gandhi Youth CampOLEMA, California: Subba Rao, a Gandhian who is the director of the National Youth Project, will lead the 13th edition of the Gandhi Youth Camp here. Organized by the Indo-American Community Service Center, the camp will be held August from 15 to 22 in a facility adjacent to the Point Reyes National Park, about two hours drive from the South Bay. The camp will focus on the Mahatma's teachings, assertive but non-violent action, and cultural activities that will kindle spiritual interests in the participants. Fees for the camp varies from $ 250 per one person, $ 425 for two, and $ 525 for three. The ICSC is seeking volunteers to run the camp and act as mentors. It is also looking for year-round volunteers who will spend about two hours each day in helping run the organization, carry out its outreach, publicity and website programs.
