E-Mail this report to a friend

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief has reiterated that it was ''in the interest of Islamabad and New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir issue at the earliest''.

Addressing a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, he offered to hold talks with India on the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions and the Lahore declaration.

Pakistan, however, would continue its diplomatic and moral support to the Mujahideen, he was quoted by Pakistan Link as saying.
