Ahmedabad cops asked to shoot at sight

Shoot-at-sight orders have been issued in Ahmedabad as the toll in communal violence has touched seven.

The Gujarat government has deployed more forces in the city to end communal violence, which begun on July 20, following a minor incident in the Dariapur area.

Minister of State for Home Haren Pandya has told the media that 295 persons have so far been arrested in connection with the violence.
