Six Assam cops killed in Naga ambush

Seven people, including six Assam police personnel, were killed and six policemen critically injured in a major ambush by National Socialist council of Nagaland militants in Assam's Karbi Anglong district early today.

Official sources said the militants also looted a large number of arms and ammunition.
