Haryana, Himachal under heavy showers

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, and active in coastal Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Orissa, Jammu and Kashmir, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa and Lakshadweep, at many places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, west Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, central Maharashtra, south interior Karnataka and Kerala, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Marathwada, Vidarbha, north interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Andhra Pradesh.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala , at many places in Arunchal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep and at a few places over the rest of the country outside Tamil Nadu where it will occur at isolated places.
