Rains continue in the North-East

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Saurashtra, Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Gujarat and Vidarbha, and active in Assam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and west Madhya Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, the Bihar plains, Telangana, north interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka and at isolated places in plains of west Uttar Pradesh and the Bihar plateau.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Saurashtra, Konkan, Goa, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep and at a few places over the rest of the country.
