More rains forecast for the North-East

Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep in the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, the Bihar plateau, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, central Maharashtra, Vidarbha and coastal Andhra Pradesh, and at isolated places in the Konkan, Goa, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.

Very light rain also fell at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in the rest of the country.

The weather will be mainly dry in south Rajasthan.
