Laloo dissolves RJD youth wing

Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Laloo Prasad Yadav today dissolved the party's youth wing, saying he had received several complaints regarding the illegal activities of the office-bearers of the organisation.

Addressing the party workers after Chief Minister Rabri Devi inaugurated the new state party headquarters here, Yadav clarified that indiscipline in the party would not be tolerated at any cost and said some workers had damaged the party's image.

Yadav also urged the chief minister to allot houses to all major political parties to open their offices in the state on a subsidised rate. Rabri Devi called on the party workers to strengthen the organisation at the grassroot level and participate in the development of the state. State party president Pitamber Paswan and secretary-general Ram Kripal Yadav also spoke on the occasion.
