IA combines, reschedules flights for Holi

Indian Airlines has combined and rescheduled some of its flights from Bombay on March 2 due to the low demand for seats during the Holi festival.

On the Bombay-Delhi sector, morning flights IC 181and IC 806 have been combined with IC 185, which will leave Bombay at 0935 hours.

Similarly, in the evening, IC 168 has been combined with IC 183, which will leave Bombay at 2030 hours.

On the Delhi-Bombay sector, IC 186 has been combined with IC 182 to arrive in Bombay at 1125 hours. In the evening, IC 405 and IC 805 have been combined with IC 184 to arrive in Bombay at 2225 hours.

On the Bombay-Bangalore sector, flights IC 109 and IC 609 have been combined with IC 107 which departs from Bombay at 1730 hours.

On the Bangalore-Bombay sector, IC 110 and IC 610 will be combined with IC 108, which arrives in Bombay at 2135 hours.

Flights IC 635 and IC 636 on the Bombay-Bhavnagar-Bombay sector, have been combined with IC 689 and IC 690 on Bombay-Vadodara-Bombay sector, to operate on the Bombay-Bhavnagar-Vadodara-Bombay route. The flight will leave Bombay at 1540 hours and arrive at Bhavnagar at 1635 hours. It will reach Vadodara at 1745 hours. The return flight will arrive in Bombay at 1925 hours.

Similarly, the Bombay-Ahmedabad-Bombay flights IC 603 and IC 604 has been combined with Alliance Air flights CD 145 and CD 146 to operate a Bombay-Rajkot-Ahmedabad-Bombay flight. It leaves Bombay at 1900 hours and arrive at Rajkot at 1950 hours and Ahmedabad at 2050 hours. The return flight will arrive in Bombay at 2220 hours.

Alliance Air flights CD 161 and CD 162 on the Bombay-Cochin-Bombay sector has been combined with flights CD 179 and CD 180 on the Bombay-Mangalore-Bombay sector, to operate a Bombay-Mangalore-Cochin-Bombay flight.

Leaving Bombay at 0925 hours, the flight will reach Mangalore at 1040 hours and Cochin at 1150 hours. The flight from Cochin will head directly for Bombay at 1400 hours.

On the Bombay-Calcutta-Bombay sector, only IC 274 and IC 273 will be operational, leaving Bombay at 1630 hours. The morning flights IC 675 and IC 676 have been cancelled.
