Nights warmer in the North-East

Rain or snow is likely to fall at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to fall at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and south Tamil Nadu, and at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, north Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers fell at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the last 24 hours. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in north Tamil Nadu and some parts of Rayalaseema and north interior Karnataka.

They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, south Tamil Nadu and some parts of the plains of west Uttar Pradesh.

Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and some parts of Assam and Meghalaya.

They were above normal in the Konkan and in some parts of Marathwada, Vidarbha and the remaining parts of Assam and Meghalaya.

Night temperatures were normal in the rest of the country, barring Arunachal Pradesh from where data were sparse.
