Lok Dal decides to oppose Bihar motion

In a setback to the Bharatiya Janata Party-led coalition government, the four-member Indian National Lok Dal contingent in the Lok Sabha has decided to vote against the statutory resolution to ratify the imposition of President's rule in Bihar, party MP Surender Singh Barwala announced.

He said the INLD leadership took a unanimous decision to vote against the motion in the Lower House later this evening.

The other INLD MPs are Kailasho Devi, Kishan Singh and Dr Sushil Kumar Indora.
