Night temperatures dips in west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Tamil Nadu

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and were below normal in Jammu and south Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar plateau, east Uttar Pradesh, south Gujarat region, Saurashtra, north Konkan and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Orissa and were above normal in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, north Rajasthan, Kutch, Vidarbha and in some parts of central Maharashtra and coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country other Arunachal Pradesh from where the data was sparse.

Rain or snow has occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country. Rain or snow is likely to occur in and at isolated places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.
