E-Mail this report to a friend

The Delhi Yuva Shiv Sena has urged Home Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani to ban the use of loudspeakers in mosques, saying these disturbed students preparing for examinations and resulted in noise pollution.

In a statement in New Delhi, the Shiv Sena warned that it would file a public interest petition in the court and launch a campaign if the government failed to act within 15 days.

A delegation of the Shiv Sena also met the home minister yesterday and presented to him a memorandum in this regard.
