Mainly dry weather on the cards

Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of south Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. They were markedly above normal in some parts of north Madhya Pradesh and were appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam, Sikkim, Kashmir, Haryana and Gujarat state. They were above normal over the rest of the country other than Arunachal Pradesh and Kerala, from where the data was sparse. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the country.

Rain or snow is likely to occur at a few places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands and at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, south Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.
