I never said Vajpayee govt would fall: Khurana

E-Mail this report to a friend

Former Union minister Madan Lal Khurana has denied having said in an interview to Outlook that the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government could fall during or before the Budget session of Parliament.

''I told them that you are lying. How can I say that the government will fall,'' Khurana told UNI.

''When I am talking about saving the government, where is the question of my saying that the government will fall,'' he said.

Khurana threatened to move the Press Council of India if the weekly did not immediately withdraw the contents of the story concerning him.
