Sonia reconstitutes AICC

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has reconstituted the All-India Congress Committee secretariat by appointing four new general secretaries and dropping Tariq Anwar and Meira Kumar. She has also reallocated work.

The new general secretaries are Pranab Mukherjee, Ambika Soni, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Sushil Kumar Shinde.

Party treasurer Ahmed Patel and secretary Mani Shankar Aiyar have been given additional responsibilities.
