Cool nights in Konkan, Maharashtra

Cold wave conditions prevailed in parts of Bihar plains, east Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Konkan and in parts of north central Maharashtra, Vidarbha and Tamil Nadu, and were below normal in north Gujarat, south central Maharashtra, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka and in parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, in the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, southwest Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh.

They were above normal in parts of northwest Rajasthan, Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh, and were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh and Kashmir from where the data were sparse.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are also likely at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Punjab, south Tamil Nadu, south Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.
