Talks for Calcutta-Dhaka bus postponed to Feb 16

India has invited a Bangladeshi delegation for talks on the proposed Calcutta-Dhaka bus service on February 16 and 17, an external affairs ministry spokesman said today in New Delhi.

The talks were earlier scheduled to begin on February 3, but the Bangladeshis requested a week's postponement.

But since the surface transport ministry will be preoccupied with other work until the middle of the month, it suggested February 16 as the date for beginning the talks.
