I accompanied the Tata Relief Committee, a group from Telco, Jamshedpur, when they took relief materials to Padampur village, a three hour boat ride from Erasama. This was the ration for each villager there: 2 pots, a ladle, puffed rice (in the pots), some gur (jaggery), a hurricane lantern and polythene sheets. | |
