Pak murderer claims he has killed 100 children

Pakistani police today searched for a man who left mutilated bodies of two children in a barrel with a note claiming he had killed over 100 children.

''I have killed 100 children and put their bodies in acid containers and later disposed of the undissolved body parts,'' The News quoted the letter as saying.

Police said they found two bodies mutilated beyond recognition in a house in a poor suburb of Lahore.

The APP news agency, quoting senior police officials, said: ''The gruesome act came to light when two bodies, which were mutilated beyond recognition, were recovered from a dingy and deserted house in Ravi Road area on Thursday.''

The unidentified killer also left a note pasted on the wall saying that he had murdered more than one hundred persons. Addresses and photographs of those murdered by an unidentified assassin are also noted in his personal diary, which has been confiscated by the local police, the report said.

The News said dozens of shoes were found in the house in two sacks, together with children's board games.
