Rains in Andamans

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, north Orissa and coastal Karnataka during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Kerala, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, east Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Rayalaseema and coastal Karnataka, at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, central Maharashtra and interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in Orissa, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat state, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.

Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
