Rains continue in the Andamans

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, West Bengal and Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Laksahdweep, at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside west Rajasthan and Saurashtra and Kutch where the weather will be mainly dry.

Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in sub- Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 48 hours.

Southwest monsoon has been active in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and east Madhya Pradesh. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Assam and Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and coastal Karnataka, at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Orissa, east Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Gujarat region, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
