Planet Bhangra And Other Desi DancingPious Kat You should be 18 to spit and 21 to swallow, warn the organizers of the 'Back 2 School' 99' bash on August 28 at Tampa's Frankie's Patio in the historic Ybor section of the city. Keep your ID ready; nobody below 21 has admission at the bar. The music offered includes hip-hop, spinning, booty, salsa and bhangra beat. Led by DJ Jiten, other music masters include Meat and Shauny. The doors open at 10 pm. The club is located about five minutes drive from Tampa center, 45 minutes from Orlando, and three hours from Miami. The list includes DJs Notorious, Maad, Scorpio, ra Zor Rus, Hooter and Nutty. Age restriction: 18 and plus to go "easy" and 21 and plus to go "dizzy." An ID is a must. Doors open at 11.30 am at Club Casablanca, 40-15 Queens Blvd in Queens (reached by No 7 train). Same evening at 10 pm doors open at Culture Club for night jamming, led by DJ Kuru whose music from The Journey Continues is expected to be the highlight. A number of top DJs from New York and Toronto add to the fun. Among them are DJs ViCiOus (Zafer and Naim from Toronto), Jiten, Ladla and RB.
