ULFA condemns Mungro murder

E-Mail this report to a friend

The banned United Liberation Front of Asom has condemned the killing of National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang general secretary Dally Mungro.

Mungro was gunned down in a hideout on Wednesday night by rival National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Issak-Muivah activists.

In a fax message, ULFA chairman Arabinda Rajkhowa said last night that his organisation would always remember Mungro's invaluable efforts towards unity of all the revolutionary organisations of the region.

''The cowardly assassination of Mungro is sure to lead the process of talks to a rough terrain,'' he said.

The ULFA offered condolence to the bereaved family.
