Rains continue in the Andamans

The southwest monsoon has been active in Rayalaseema.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, in the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Vidarbha, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar and in the plains of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, and at a few places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch where the weather will be mainly dry.
