Rains continue in parts of N-E

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 48 hours.

Southwest monsoon has been active in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Assam and Meghalaya and at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, in the plains of Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Orissa, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Orissa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Tamil Nadu and coastal Karnataka, and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside West Rajasthan and Gujarat where the weather will be mainly dry.
