Wet weather in the Andamans

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Orissa and east Uttar Pradesh.

They occurred at a few places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and coastal Karnataka, and at isolated places in central Maharashtra, Telangana, Rayalaseema and interior Karnataka.

Very light rain has also occurred at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in Arunchal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside Rajasthan and Gujarat state where the weather will be mainly dry.
