Three injured in Assam blasts

At least three persons, including two Central Reserve Police Force personnel, were injured in two separate explosions triggered by suspected NDFB militants in Assam today, official sources said.

Two CRPF personnel of a patrol party were injured in a bomb blast under a wooden bridge at Nayakgaon in Kokrajhar district. The injured jawans have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

In another explosion a chowkidar of a lower primary school, about 13 km from the railway township Rangiya in Kamrup distrcit, was injured. He too was rushed to nearby hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable.
