Monsoon carries on parts of N-E

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

The southwest monsoon has been active in Assam, Meghalaya and east Madhya Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Marathwada, at many places in the sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Telangana and coastal Karnataka, at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar plains, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, interior Karnataka and Kerala, and at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, the Bihar plateau, hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala, and at a few places over the rest of the country outside west Rajasthan where it will occur at isolated places.
