Pak high commission official expelled for spyingIndia has expelled a Pakistani official on charges of spying. An external affairs ministry official said in New Delhi today that a staff member of the Pakistani high commission was expelled yesterday for being involved in spying. Mohammad Safdar, the expelled staff member, has been given time till August 12 to leave the country. On July 7, Pakistan had expelled an Indian high commission official, Yograj Vij, on similar charges two days after Pakistani intelligence agents abducted him in Islamabad and beat him up. UNI |
