Train mishap averted in Andhra PradeshA major train mishap was averted when the Hyderabad-bound Narayanadri Express was stopped in time following delinking of wagons of a goods train at Bogaram village in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh yesterday. Railway sources here said the driver of the Nalgonda-bound goods train was quick to notice the coupling connecting wagons delinking. He immediately alerted the Ramannaapet station master, who in turn stopped the packed Narayanadri Express on the loop line near the station, thus preventing a direct collision with the goods train's delinked bogies. Following this, traffic was affected on the single track for more than five hours. The Hyderabad-bound Visaka Express was stopped at Chityala, the Palnadu Express at Srirampuram and the Nagarjuna Express at Valigonda. An engine was requisitioned from Bibinagar to toe away the delinked wagons. UNI
