Swamy's next project -- to "finish off" the RSS

E-Mail this report to a friend

Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy today said his "next project" will be to "finish off" the "rumour-mongering" Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Dr Swamy said that now that the A B Vajpayee government had fallen, he would turn his attention to driving the RSS, which he described as the "rumour-spreading society", out of the Indian body politic.

Seventy-two of the Bharatiya Janata Party's 180-odd members of Parliament were earlier members of parties like the Sawajwadi Party and the Congress. These MPs do not like the "domination" of the RSS. Once the new government provides a stable administration for three months, these 72 MPs will break away from the BJP, he claimed.
